LA GRANJA DE ARTURITO
This short film follows a farmer carrying out his work day contrasted with non-human data collection, prompting us to reflect on our loss of knowledge and sensitivity to the environment. The way people interpret meteorological information today has come a long way from just looking up at the sky. The approach that farmers take while working the land is drastically different from the information gathered by a drone or weather station.
The main character is a personification of the Bristol Almanac, a cultural relic that remains widely popular in many Latin American countries, especially in Colombia.
